The Beauty in Simplicity | Marc Jacobs O!mega Bronzer

For me the ideal makeup look has always been that dewy, sun-kissed look. After spending hours in the sun during the summer, I can say that a bronzed look comes semi-naturally. But the reality is, there are about 3, maybe 4 good months of summer here. And so for the remainder of our gloomy and cold months in Canada I am left needing a little bit of help in the bronzing department.

The Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect Tan in Tantalize has been the discovery of the year for me. Because I get very dark in the summer and very light in the winter I always struggled to find a bronzer that worked for both of my skin tones. Many bronzers would be barely noticeable in the summer and then left me looking borderline like an oompa-loompa in the winter. Unfortunately, buying two bronzers was just simply not the reality for me.

When I finally decided to order the Bronzer I was over the moon. I realized it was the perfect colour. Slightly glowy and just the right amount of pigment that could be built up to your desire. Gone were the days of looking like an oompa-loompa. I now had an all-year-round Bronzer.

Not to mention, it smells like the beach! Everyone needs a little bit of hope in the cold winter months right?

In the end, I found this singular Bronzer was displacing all my other face products (no more blush for me). It was amazing how beautiful one simple product could look. Whether on top of foundation or on top of bare skin, it goes on smoothly and never gets patchy. Unless of course I decide to take the occasional afternoon nap, but that’s understandable. Although I admit to having a constantly changing makeup routine, I have found so much beauty in its simplicity and I have yet to find a need to use anything else.
