The Summer Edit: How To Style White Skirts
I always swore to myself that I would never wear a crop top, let alone a bra top. And well, its safe to say that I no longer follow that. This idea stemmed from the fact that I just simply believed a crop top could not be made classy. But here I am, wearing one of my favourite pieces of summer 2020, a beautiful bra top from Zara.
This top has without a doubt been one of my favourite additions to my wardrobe. Not only is it modern and perfect for the warm summer months but it’s also elegant and classy, a piece I have been able to dress up and down in a multitude of ways.
For this simple look I have paired my black Zara bra top with my white linen wrap skirt and accessorized with my black Castañer wedges and my Cult Gaia Ark bag. I wanted to keep this look very organic yet feminine and a tad powerful. Although the light and neutral colours keep this light and airy the black from the top and the espadrilles add a touch of edginess that makes those individual pieces stand out.
For this outfit I played around with a mixture of fabrics and textures, from the organic linen fabric, to the jute in my espadrilles and the bamboo in my bag. Mixing fabrics and textures can seem intimidating but I find if you keep them within the same group it comes together beautifully. Wether your heading to a picnic in the park or walking around on a hot summer day this look will be perfect for all your adventures.
