5 Beauty Products I Can't Stop Using | Glossier

For years the beauty industry and experts have been telling women and men what to wear and what to buy, creating beauty ideals around standards that are aspirational and unrealistic.

Glossier, a 2014 New York based beauty brand has continuously changed the beauty game and my shelves. Their aim has been to democratize beauty, a concept that strives for all women and men to have a say in what is made available to them as consumers. As described by Time Magazine, Glossier “allows women too look like the best version of themselves, not an aspirational version of someone else”. So whether you’ve tried Glossier products or not, here are a few of my favourites.

My Glossier Top 5:

Glossier You - The most unique fragrance I have ever come across and possibly my most complimented. Spicy, earthy, and fresh are just some of the words that come to mind. Formulated to adapt to your unique skin chemistry, the scent will vary. All I can say is that I’m on bottle number four and I’m rushing to get a new one.
Lash Slick Mascara - Easily the most versatile mascara. It elongates, separates, and gives you beautiful volume without the hassle of being impossible to take off. It’s your lashes but better. Whether I’m going for a natural look or a more dramatic evening look, the addition of a few layers does just the trick. Simply amazing.
Balm Dot Com (original)- A long lasting and moisturizing lip balm that doubles as a skin salve. Although the original is still my favourite, it comes in a variety of flavours and tints that will suit all your personalities. The Balm Dot Com was my first purchase from Glossier and the best decision I ever made. Glossier answered my prayers and the prayers I never knew I had.
Lip gloss - Clear, long-lasting, and ultra glossy, this gloss is absolute perfection. It’s beautiful both on its own or over you favourite lipstick. One can only say so much about a clear lip gloss, but my inability to use anything else has granted it a spot on my top 5. This Lip Gloss is a must-try.
Perfecting Skin Tint - Its name says it all, a perfecting tint. A light and glowy formula that evens out your skin tone without the heaviness and coverage of a foundation. For days where I need a little more help I reach for a full coverage concealer to add extra coverage where needed.

I know it can be intimidating to buy makeup online but I assure you that both the shopping process and the colour selection is flawless. With summer just around the corner these effortless and glowy products will have you looking like a goddess all day long.
